Free Comic Book Day

Sat May 6, 2006, 1:50 PM
Went to the store for Free Comic Book Day and what a waste of time that was. I picked up the X-Men/Runaways crossover which was only 11 pages long. The story was lame and was over in seconds. Why does Brian K Vaughan insist on making other super heroes look like complete tools whenever they cross paths with the Runaways?

Anyway I at least picked up Civil War #1 while I was there. The story is OK as an opener. It certainly makes me like Captain America a whole lot more, but still not enough to buy his solo title.

I'm still debating on whether or not I should hit the Oakland comic convention on the 20th....
